Delta Ireland created an innovative Christmas display that used local cityscapes to enhance the customer experience.
Three Ireland wanted to develop a Christmas campaign that was very targeted, creative and engaging at both a local and national level. engaging compliment and communicate their Christmas offers with a unique Christmas window with a difference. The Three Ireland window space is an integral part of the retail merchandising plan, as Three Ireland are seen as a leader in the field and use this retail space to compete in the highly competitive gifting market during the Christmas period.
Our simple concept turned all customer touch points into illuminated, eye-catching cityscapes that varied based on the store location. All windows featured the main Three Ireland sponsored buildings, whilst also featuring a selection of local landmarks, such a cathedrals or iconic buildings. To create a display that stood out from competitors, our innovative cardboard POS solutions were paired with LED lights and a large cloud that was the centrepoint of the piece. The illuminated cloud, floating at eye level, attracted attention to the window display whilst encouraging customers to take a closer look at the cityscape as they made their journey around town.
To complement the window display, we completed a full store takeover that continued the window theme on all wall panels. Tills were wrapped as gift boxes, and glass display cases showcased the gift box featured in the campaign TV advertisements.
Feedback for the campaign from Three Ireland, local store managers and customers was overwhelmingly positive, backed up by a 12% increase in footfall and increased sales beyond targets.
The success of campaign continued into the awards season, when The Delta Group was named ‘Large Format Digital Printer of the Year’ at the Irish Print Awards for this campaign.
