Delta Ireland has completed a store refresh of one of the largest SuperValu stores in Ireland, at the Pavilion Shopping Centre in Swords.
Delta has been working with Musgrave Group for a number of years, providing a range of services across Ireland for their two grocery retail brands, SuperValu and Centra. This project aimed to bring SuperValu’s “Real Food, Real People” messaging to life in-store, putting fresh food at the forefront of the retail offering – be that through the butchers counter, fish mongers, in-store baker, or well merchandised areas within wine, beers and fruit and vegetables.
We had three weeks from the start of the project to deliver a highly impactful in-store environment, all whilst the store remained open for business. As this was a new store format, we had the task of delivering the project right first time. Delta Ireland were involved in artworking, production and installation on fixtures, serve over counters, bulk heads and walls. We worked in collaboration with the relevant on-site construction companies as well as the Musgrave Retail Project Team.
A lot of the work involved producing branded elements to give all fixtures the look and feel of a market store environment, with food provenance playing a key part of the in-store experience.
The modern in-store environment and customer experience at this store is now the standard for all new SuperValu stores added to the estate, and there are plans to refresh current stores to this format in the near future.
