DIXONS CARPHONE ‘BLACK TAG’

CHALLENGE

Black Friday signals the start of the Christmas shopping period in which retailers make special offers in a bid to boost sales and increase footfall. Dixons Carphone wanted to support Black Friday by producing a range of POS units. The bold black and yellow designs were to be used on a number of BAU items as well as some theatre items to create the in-store stand-out required to highlight the extent of the Black Tag deals which would be in-store during November.

SOLUTION

BAU elements were produced ranging from specific category POS for range and promotions to high level printed solutions, category deals, leaflets and posters. During October over one million items of individual POS were produced from over 1,600 individual artwork items and delivered to 338 stores across the UK.

The theatre items were designed by Lick Creative and Delta’s Structural team with items such as Lollipops, FSDU’s, Standees, Bulk stack dividers, Bunting and Tape being produced and distributed across the full store estate.

RESULT

A selection of impactful 2D and 3D POS highlighting deals and products alike were printed and despatched to stores ahead of the Black Tag Launch date to support store sales and engage consumers.
