A crowd-favourite that used both print and digital to create an immersive, interactive cinema experience.
For the launch of ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’, Disney wanted to hold an event at Vue Cinemas that would wow passers-by and create a spectacle for the film.
Covering a floor area of nearly 60 metres and exhibiting for over a month, our event incorporated a large interactive touch screen at the end of a yellow brick road. Children could touch the screen to remove bricks in a wall that would eventually play the trailer for the film.
This was Disney’s largest single promotional piece in the UK for the launch of the film. The stand had thousands of interactions and received amazing public and client feedback. Reflecting the success of the piece, we were awarded Gold in the ‘Temporary Short Run Campaign’ category at the 2013 POPAI Awards.
