We’re extremely pleased to announce that The Delta Group have collected three prizes at the 2014 POPAI Awards ceremony, including the prestigious ‘Display of the Year’ award.
The POPAIs are the UK’s premier Point of Purchase awards, recognising excellence in the industry. Delta have had considerable success in recent years, winning two Golds at both the 2012 and 2013 awards.
Our in-store Halloween campaign for Asda not only won Gold in the ‘Sports, Toys & Accessories’ category, but also received ‘Display of the Year – Temporary,’ which is chosen by the judges as the best campaign amongst the Gold winners in the various categories. Created with agency Gratterpalm, it was designed to immerse consumers in a “Big Shop of Horrors” through use of colours and characters. The overall theme was of a Dickensian apothecary, with jars of spider legs, eyeballs and fingers lining shelves. The campaign was delivered across all retail formats: Supermarkets, Supercentres, Living Stores, and online, with installation in all 565 Asda stores across the UK.
Additionally, our B&Q EasyGrow campaign won Bronze in the ‘Home & Garden and Tobacco’ category. The project was an exclusive launch for B&Q with a full store roll out to all 360 stores in the UK and Ireland.
